Inspiring Vacations "Snapshot Celebration" Competition Terms and Conditions

General

  1. Information on how to enter this Promotion, mechanics of entry, and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. Entry to this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry by each Entrant.
  2. Entry is open to residents of Australia, New Zealand and the United States who are aged 18 or older at the time of entry (Entrants).
  3. Employees or contractors working for or with Inspiring Vacations and their direct family members are not eligible for the Promotion.
  4. Only Entrants who apply within the competition period are eligible for the Promotion.
  5. Inspiring Vacations Pty Ltd (ABN 22 623 610 711) of Level 2, 420 St Kilda Rd, Melbourne, Victoria 3004, is the Promoter and reserves the right to modify these Conditions at any time without notice, subject to state regulatory approval.
  6. The Promotion begins at 12:01am AEDT on 3 March 2026, and ends at 11:59pm AEST on 6 April 2026 (Promotional Period). The Promotional Period consists of:
  • Submission Period: From 9:01am AEDT 3 March 2026 - 11:59pm AEDT Sun 22 March 2026
    • Grand Prize Voting Period: From 9:01am AEDT on 24 March 2026 and 11:59pm AEST on 6 April 2026.

    Entry

    1. To enter the competition, Entrants must, during the Promotional Period, visit the Inspiring Vacations promotional page and complete the online entry form, including their first name, last name, and email address. By submitting the form, Entrants consent to receive promotional emails from Inspiring Vacations and agree to the Privacy Policy.
    2. Eligible Entrants must upload a photograph or video from their Inspiring Vacations tour, taken between . Entries that do not meet this criterion will be deemed invalid.
    3. Entrants may enter as many times as they want.
    4. Each entry must be unique—duplicate entries will not be accepted. Entries can not be winning entries from previous Inspiring Vacations competitions.
    5. Entries must meet the following technical and content requirements
      1. Photos: Minimum resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels in JPG, PNG, or HEIC formats.
      2. Videos: Length between 10 and 30 seconds, in MP4 or MOV formats.
      3. Content: Must feature travel that occurred on an Inspiring Vacations tour and include a description or quote of 100 words or less relevant to the submission. If a caption exceeds 100 words, Inspiring Vacations reserves the right to edit or shorten it to 100 words.
      4. Entries must be the participant’s original work and contain no identifying marks, borders, watermarks, or signatures.
    1. By entering this competition, the Entrant confirms that they have obtained consent from all identifiable individuals featured in the submitted image or video for its use in this competition and any promotional materials associated with it.
    2. No purchase is necessary to enter. Void where prohibited.
    3. Entries will be deemed accepted at the time of receipt by the Promoter, not at the time of transmission. Entrants will receive a confirmation email upon successful submission. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, corrupted, lost, incomplete, or misdirected entries due to technical errors, omissions, deletion or otherwise.
    4. By entering the competition, Entrants grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive license to use submitted commentary, video footage, and photography in marketing materials and media worldwide, including online social networking sites. Entrants will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
    5. Grand Prize winners agree to be filmed and photographed during the "Winners Tour" and to participate in chronicling the tour experience. By accepting the prize, winners grant the promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive license to use this content in marketing materials and media worldwide, including online social networking sites. The winners (and their companions) will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
    6. If you enter the Promotion but no longer wish to participate, please email marketing@inspiringgroup.com.au, and you will be removed from the Promotion.
    7. Costs associated with entering the Promotion remain an Entrant’s responsibility and may vary.
    8. Each person may vote only once during the community voting period. Multiple votes will result in disqualification.

    General Prize Details

    1. This is a game of skill. Prizes are awarded to Entrants based on originality and creativity.
    2. Winners will be notified directly via email within two (2) business days of the winning entry selection and published on the Inspiring Vacations promotional page.
    3. All communication regarding the redemption of prizes will be sent via email. Winners must ensure their contact details are kept up to date.

    Entry Prize Details

    1. Each entry will receive a 'entry price' during the Promotional Period.
    2. Each entrant will receive a $100 Inspiring Vacations voucher, redeemable toward published tour packages on inspiringvacations.com. The voucher must be used in accordance with its terms and conditions.
    3. By entering the competition, Entrants grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive license to use submitted commentary, video footage, and photography in marketing materials and media worldwide, including online social networking sites. Entrants will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
    4. Vouchers will be supplied as a coupon code via email within 30 days of submission period ending. Valid for six months from the date of issue and can only be used against new bookings. Winners must redeem their $100 voucher by making a booking within six months of voucher received and apply it toward a single transaction for tour packages. 
    5. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred, or refunded after use. Expired vouchers are non-refundable in part or in full and, once expired, are invalid and will not be honoured.
    6. Vouchers can not be applied to Travelzoo, Red Hot Deal or Fly Stay Cruise products but can be used alongside other promotions.
    7. Voucher terms and conditions form part of the full terms and conditions of this competition.
    8. Personal information collected in relation to your voucher will be handled in accordance with Inspiring Vacations’ Privacy Policy.

    Grand Prize Details

    1. The 20 shortlisted entries for the Grand Prize voting will be announced on 24 March on the Inspiring Vacations website.
    2. The Grand Prize consists of a spot on the 12-Day Sri Lanka Uncovered Tour departing in August 2026. Each Grand Prize winner will receive:
      1. Two (2) tickets for the tour (winner + companion).
      2. Return flights from select departure cities: Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Auckland, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York.
      3. The Winner must depart from and return to the same Australian domestic airport.
      4. The Winner and their travel companion must travel together. The prize is awarded on a twin share basis.
    3. One (1) winner will be determined by community voting held between 9:01am AEST on 24 March and 11:59pm AEST on 6 April 2026. The Grand Prize winners will be announced on 8 April 2026.
    4. The Grand Prize winners will be announced on 8 April 2026 via the promotional page and Social Media
    5. The Prize cannot be swapped or changed.
    6. Total Prize is valued up to $7,990 AUD (including GST). The Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either expressed or implied by the Promoter. A Winner may not substitute, assign, exchange, transfer or redeem the Prize for cash.
    7. The winner and their travel partner must be available to travel to Sri Lanka on 02/08/2026.
    8. Grand Prize inclusions do not cover additional costs such as visas, transfers, meals not included in the itinerary, personal expenses, or optional upgrades. Such expenses will be the responsibility of the winner.
    9. If the Grand Prize tour does not meet the minimum requirements for departure, Inspiring Vacations reserves the right to offer alternative dates or prizes of equivalent value.
    10. Winners are responsible for notifying Inspiring Vacations of any changes to their contact details. All communication regarding bookings made for your awarded tour will be sent via email.
    11. Should the Winner cancel their booking for any reason, standard Inspiring Vacations Terms and Conditions will apply, and no credit or refund of the tour value or date change will be applicable.

    Other Terms and Conditions

    1. By entering the competition, Entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
    2. In participating in the prizes, the winners agree to participate and cooperate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Prize, including but not limited to being interviewed, videoed and photographed. The winner will provide the Promoter with a selection of minimum five (5) pieces of on-tour imagery and footage to be used for promotional purposes. The winners (and their companion) agree to grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive license to use winner’s commentary, video footage and photography in all media worldwide, including online social networking sites, and the winners (and their companion) will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
    3. Any booking made will henceforth adhere to all Terms & Conditions posted to the Inspiring Vacations website.
    4. The Prize strictly cannot be exchanged or transferred and traveler details cannot be amended once the booking is confirmed.
    5. The Prize is based on two people sharing a twin or double room (bedding configuration is not guaranteed).
    6. All taxes, insurances, transfers, spending money, visas, and other expenses (including meals or personal expenses) are the sole responsibility of the prize winner unless otherwise specified.
    7. Inspiring Vacations reserves the right to cancel the prize in the instance of a force majeure event as described in the Inspiring Vacations Terms & Conditions. In such instances, no deferral, rebooking or compensation will be available.
    8. Force majeure means the occurrence of an event that is beyond Inspiring Vacation’s reasonable control and which could not have been reasonably prevented by Inspiring Vacations, which includes, but is not limited to:
      1. war, armed conflict, criminal damage, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity or the threat of any such acts; 
      2. natural disasters (including but not limited to flooding, fire, earthquake, landslide, adverse weather conditions, high or low water levels); 
      3. nuclear or other industrial accident causing environmental pollution or contamination; 
      4. epidemics, pandemics, quarantines or any other public health crisis, including COVID-19 and its variants; or 
      5. change in law, meaning enactment, amendment (including repeal) in the law or administration of any law in Australia or any jurisdiction or territory relevant to the booking contract, which includes changes in statute, regulation determination, by-law, declaration, licence and the common law as applicable from time to time, including but not limited to travel or movement restrictions imposed by state, federal or foreign governments.
    9. Personal information collected in connection with this Promotion will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
    10. The Promoter reserves the right to redraw if a winner cannot satisfy these Terms and Conditions or has breached them.
