Inspiring Vacations "Dress-tination" Photo Competition Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions

Information on how to enter this Promotion, mechanics of entry, and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. Entry to this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry by each Entrant.

Eligibility

  • Entry is open to individuals in Australia, New Zealand, United States and Canada aged 18 years or older at the time of entry (“Entrants”).
  • Employees or contractors working for or with Inspiring Vacations and their direct family members are not eligible for the Promotion.
  • Only Entrants who apply within the Promotional Period are eligible.
  • This offer is not available for travel agents.
  • Void where prohibited by law.

Promoter

Inspiring Vacations Pty Ltd (ABN 22 623 610 711) of Level 2, 420 St Kilda Rd, Melbourne, Victoria 3004 (“Promoter”).
The Promoter reserves the right to modify these Conditions at any time without notice, subject to state or international regulatory approval where applicable.

 

Promotion Period

The Promotion begins at 9:00am AEDT on 7 October 2025 and ends at 11:59pm AEDT on 30 October 2025 (“Promotional Period”).

 

How to Enter & Entry Requirements

During the Promotional Period, Entrants must, on either Facebook or Instagram:

  1. Follow the official @InspiringVacations account on the platform of entry;
  2. Post on their own feed (not Stories) a photo of themselves dressing up as their favourite destination;
  3. Tag @InspiringVacations in the post and include a caption explaining why it is their favourite destination.

Additional entry requirements:

  • Entries must be the Entrant’s own original photograph and must not be generated or materially altered using artificial intelligence or similar automated editing tools.
  • Basic edits such as cropping, resizing, colour/brightness adjustments, or use of standard Instagram/Facebook filters are permitted.
  • Videos are not accepted. This is a photo-only competition.
  • If an entry is submitted from a personal profile that is private, the Entrant must take a screenshot of their submission. The screenshot must clearly show the photo, caption, and that the Entrant has tagged Inspiring Vacations. This screenshot must be provided to Inspiring Vacations upon request.
  • The post must remain live on the Entrant’s feed until 1 November 2025. Failure to meet this requirement will result in disqualification.
  • Multiple entries are permitted if each entry is materially different.
  • All individuals appearing in the photograph must have given consent (or parental/guardian consent for minors incidentally depicted).
  • The entry must not contain offensive, defamatory, infringing, or unlawful content.
  • Entries must comply with Facebook/Instagram’s terms of use. This Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Meta Platforms.

 

Judging & Winner Selection

  • This Promotion is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner.
  • A judging panel appointed by the Promoter will assess eligible entries based on creativity, originality, relevance to the theme, and overall presentation.
  • The winner’s name/handle will be published on Inspiring Vacations’ official Facebook and Instagram pages by 31 October 2025.
  • The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

Prize

  • One (1) winner will receive a $300 voucher (“Credit”) in applicable local currency (AUD, NZD, USD, or CAD) to apply to any new or existing Inspiring Vacations tours.
  • Voucher must be applied to a booking made under the name of the winner.
  • The Credit will be valid for 3 months from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
  • The Credit is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash. 
  • Expired vouchers are non-refundable in whole or part. Once expired, vouchers are no longer valid and will not be honoured.
  • The Credit must be applied to a booking held in the winner’s name and is subject to Inspiring Vacations’ standard booking terms and conditions.
  • The discount is applied to the selected tour only and does not apply to additional items including, but not limited to, flights, pre- and post-tour accommodation, upgrades, or optional tours.
  • This promotion cannot be combined with Red Hot Deals, Last Minute, Tailormade, or Travelzoo offers.
  • Standard Inspiring Vacations terms and conditions apply to all bookings.
  • The promotion is not available for use on https://cruises.inspiringvacations.com and is only available for bookings made directly through https://www.inspiringvacations.com
  • Any travel costs, insurance, visas, or additional expenses beyond the Credit are the responsibility of the winner.



Winner Notification

  • The winner will be contacted via direct message or comment on the platform of entry and/or by tag on the winning post within 3 business days of judging.
  • The winner must respond and provide any requested verification (including proof of identity, age, and ownership of the entry content) within 7 days.
  • If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond, or fails verification, the Promoter may award the prize to the next-highest scoring entry by 7 November 2025.

 

Entry Requirements

By submitting an entry, Entrants warrant that:

  • The entry is their original work and does not infringe the rights of any third party;
  • All individuals appearing in the entry have provided consent (or parental/guardian consent for minors incidentally depicted);
  • The entry contains no offensive, defamatory, infringing, or unlawful content.

The Promoter reserves the right to moderate, request edits to, or disqualify entries that do not comply with these requirements.



Rights & License

By entering, Entrants grant the Promoter a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and communicate their entry (including name/handle and likeness) in any media for marketing and promotional purposes, without compensation, subject to applicable law. For clarity, the Promoter has the right, but not the obligation, to use any entry.

Plain-English explanation:
By entering, you agree that Inspiring Vacations may edit, adapt, crop, or use your entry in its marketing and promotions without always crediting you as the creator. Inspiring Vacations will not use your entry in a misleading, unlawful, or offensive way.

Legal clause:
Entrants consent to any acts by the Promoter that may otherwise infringe their moral rights under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth), to the extent permitted by law.

 

Privacy

  • The Promoter collects personal information to administer the Promotion, verify eligibility, contact Entrants, and for publicity and marketing purposes in accordance with its Privacy Policy https://www.inspiringvacations.com/au/page/privacy-policy.
  • By entering, Entrants consent to the Promoter using their personal information in this manner.
  • Personal information may be processed, stored, or disclosed outside the Entrant’s country of residence, including in Australia.
  • Entrants may access, update, or correct their personal information by contacting the Promoter at marketing@inspiringgroup.com.au.

 

Liability

  • Nothing in these Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including the Australian Consumer Law where applicable).
  • To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter and its agencies are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury (including indirect or consequential loss) arising in connection with the Promotion, including but not limited to:
    • late, lost or misdirected entries;
    • technical errors, delays, or failures;
    • use of or inability to use the prize;
    • any event beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.

 

General

  • Entries are deemed received when recorded by the Promoter’s systems, not at the time of transmission.
  • The Promoter may verify entries and Entrants and disqualify incomplete, incorrect, or misleading entries.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Promotion if it cannot run as planned.
  • These Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and Entrants submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
