The Greatest Travel Show Competition Terms and Conditions
The Greatest Travel Show Book to Win Prize
A book to win prize will be offered each day, of every day of The Greatest Travel Show. The competition period for each prize is for the duration of the respective event during the period of 1 July 2024 and 30 June 2025.
Method of Entry
To enter, a valid booking must be made at the event attended, within the competition period. A booking is determined as valid by the payment of at least a $99 per person deposit.
Eligibility
Entry is open only to attendees of the event, who register their attendance at the sign in desk. Entrants must satisfy the method of entry as outlined above and reside in one of the eligible states/territories. Where door prizes total value is above $2,999, residents of ACT are excluded.
Winners must be over the age of 18. Travel agents are not eligible. Employees, contractors working for or with Inspiring Vacations and their direct family members are not eligible.
Prize Details
Entrants will be eligible to win one of the following prizes.
Two day event prizes (Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane):
1 x $3000 Inspiring Vacations credit
Two day event prizes (all other cities):
1 $1000 Inspiring Vacations credit
One day event prizes:
1 x $500 Inspiring Vacations credit
The credits will be provided in the respective country’s currency and will be automatically applied to the remaining credit balance of the tour purchased during the event. If the tour is cancelled and refunded to the customer, the refund will be provided as per our standard terms and conditions, and will be for the total amount minus any credit applied. The credit cannot be used in combination with other Inspiring Vacations promotions or offers. Credits are only valid for application on tours, including tours with included flights, and cannot be used on flights bookings that are added to an existing tour. Cash may not be awarded in lieu of the voucher and the voucher is strictly non-transferable.
Prize and details are subject to change at any time.
Prize Notification and Claim
Winners will be notified via the email provided within 72 hours of the prize draw. This email communication will ask for their official acceptance of the prize and all Terms and Conditions. Instructions on how to proceed with utilising their voucher will follow.
If a winner is drawn and they do not respond with their acceptance of the prize within 48 hours of the email being sent, no further draw will take place. If the entrant has provided an incorrect email address, Inspiring Vacations cannot be held responsible as a consequence if the prize is ultimately not communicated to the winner.
The credit will be awarded to the winner after their eligibility has been confirmed and the prize has been officially accepted. Travel does not have to occur prior to the expiry date.
Prize draw
Winners of each prize will be drawn at the closing of each individual day of the events, as outlined above. Location of the draw will happen at the respective event venue.
Other Terms and Conditions
- This is a game of chance. The winner will be randomly drawn from the list of entrants.
- If the initial booking made to enter the competition is cancelled within the seven-day cooling-off period, entry to the competition is invalid.
- Entry into this competition is deemed to be in acceptance of these conditions. Inspiring Vacations Pty Ltd (ABN 22 623 610 711) of Level 2, 420 St Kilda Rd, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia 3004 is the Promoter and reserves the right to modify these conditions at any time without notice, subject to state regulatory approval.
- Vouchers will be issued once the initial deposit has been received and cooling-off period has passed.
- Once awarded, the Inspiring Vacations credit and its full value become the responsibility of the winner. Winners must contact Inspiring Vacations to apply this credit to their booking over the phone. Should the winner diminish the balance due to user error, no refund or replacement will be applicable.
- Our travel packages are subject to availability at the time you book. If the booking or departures is cancelled for any reason by Inspiring Vacations, the credit will be forfeited.
- Any booking made will henceforth adhere to all Terms & Conditions posted to our website.
- The prize strictly cannot be exchanged or transferred.
- If the prize redeemed does not meet the minimum requirements for departure, Inspiring Vacations will offer alternative dates.
- The winner will be responsible for any additional costs that are not identified in the inclusions section of the redeemed trip’s detailed itinerary. This could include airfares and/or transportation to the itinerary starting point, any optional upgrades, meals, and other excluded expenses, payable by the prize winner if not included in the package.
- All communication regarding bookings made for your awarded tour will be sent via email. It will be the responsibility of the winner to notify Inspiring Vacations of any changes to contact details.
- Should you be forced to cancel your booking for whatever reason, standard terms and conditions will apply and no credit or refund of the tour value or date change would be applicable.
- Inspiring Vacations reserves the right to cancel the prize in the instance of a force majeure event as described in the Inspiring Vacations terms & conditions. In such instances, no deferral, rebooking, or compensation will be available. Force majeure means the occurrence of an event that is beyond Inspiring Vacation’s reasonable control and which could not have been reasonably prevented by Inspiring Vacations, which includes, but is not limited to: (a) war, armed conflict, criminal damage, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity or the threat of any such acts; (b) natural disasters (including but not limited to flooding, fire, earthquake, landslide, adverse weather conditions, high or low water levels; (c) nuclear or other industrial accident causing environmental pollution or contamination; (d) epidemics, pandemics, quarantines or any other public health crisis, including COVID-19 and its variants; or (e) change in law, meaning enactment, amendment (including repeal) in the law or administration of any law in Australia or any jurisdiction or territory relevant to the booking contract, which includes changes in statute, regulation determination, by-law, declaration, licence and the common law as applicable from time to time, including but not limited to travel or movement restrictions imposed by state, federal or foreign governments.
- The collection and disclosure of personal information provided in connection with this promotion will be handled in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Policy.
- By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. Inspiring Vacations standard Terms and Conditions continue to apply to all bookings made.

An exclusive ‘event only’ offer will be available every day of The Greatest Travel Show. The eligibility period for each offer is for the duration of the respective event, or for an additional 7 days post-event if specified in the post-event follow up email.

The offer can only be redeemed when making a booking with a travel consultant, and will be provided to the customer as a discount on their booking. The value of the offer will be provided in the respective country’s currency. Prices, savings and value communicated in market are representative of Inspiring Vacations price, compared to a typical price of a competitor.
Offer 2: $150 Flight Offer
Flights to the following destinations will be eligible for a further $150 discount per person:
- Asia
- Africa
- Europe
- South America
- North America
The offer can only be redeemed when making a booking with a travel consultant. For flight inclusive packages, the value will be provided to the customer as a discount on their booking. For land only packages, a code will be provided to the customer post purchase to be used when booking their flights through the flights portal. The value of the offer will be provided in the respective country’s currency.
Offer 3: Free Optional Add-On
Customers who purchase at the event will be eligible to receive one (1) free optional add-on per person as part of their tour, up to the value of $150. The offer is only eligible on tours with Optional Add-Ons less than $150; if the Optional Add-On is less than $150, the difference will be forfeit. For Platinum Tours (which are already all inclusive) or tours that don’t have any Optional Add-Ons available, the customer will receive $150 off the booking. The offer will be provided directly onto their booking when a booking is made with a travel consultant. The value of the offer will be provided in the respective country’s currency.
The offers will be valid only for the duration of the event, and can be extended by Inspiring Vacations at our discretion. If the offer is extended, this will be communicated to customers via email, including the new end date, with all other terms and conditions remaining the same. The offers can be redeemed on any tour booking made with a travel consultant on products on inspiringvacations.com. Offers cannot be used in combination with other Inspiring Vacations promotions or offers, except at travel consultants discretion on the day of the event. Unless specified, vouchers cannot be used on flights. Cash may not be awarded in lieu of the offer and the offer is strictly non-transferable.

The Greatest Travel Show Feedback Survey - Future Travel Voucher

One voucher will be offered to all customers who complete the post-event survey within one (1) month of receiving the invitation email.
Eligibility
Entry is open only to registrants and attendees of the event who complete the full survey.
Customers must be over the age of 18. Travel agents are not eligible. Employees, contractors working for or with Inspiring Vacations and their direct family members are not eligible.
Details
This voucher is valid on new bookings made within six (6) months of the date of the respective event. The voucher will be provided in the respective country’s currency to the email address provided by the survey respondents and must be used at the time of purchase.
The vouchers will have an expiry date of six months from the date of which they are sent to the winner. The voucher can be redeemed on any new tour booking made at inspiringvacations.com, and cannot be used in conjunction with any promotional offer, discount or Travelzoo product, and is not applicable for flight purchases. Cash may not be awarded in lieu of the voucher and the voucher is strictly non-transferable. This offer is not available for travel agents.
