Inspiring Vacations "10k Travel Lounge Members Giveaway" Competition Terms and Conditions

General

  1. Information on how to enter this Promotion, mechanics of entry, and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. Entry to this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry by each Entrant.
  2. Entry is open to residents of Australia, New Zealand and the United States who are aged 18 or older at the time of entry (Entrants).
  3. Employees or contractors working for or with Inspiring Vacations and their direct family members are not eligible for the Promotion.
  4. Only Entrants who apply within the competition period are eligible for the Promotion.
  5. Inspiring Vacations Pty Ltd (ABN 22 623 610 711) of Level 2, 420 St Kilda Rd, Melbourne, Victoria 3004, is the Promoter and reserves the right to modify these Conditions at any time without notice, subject to state regulatory approval.
  6. The competition sumbittions period begins at 12:01am AEST on 30 June 2026, and ends at 11:59pm AEST on 6 July 2026 (Competition Period).

Entry

  1. To enter the competition, Entrants must, during the Competition Period, visit the Inspiring Vacations competition page and complete the online entry form, including their first name, last name, and email address. By submitting the form, Entrants consent to receive promotional emails from Inspiring Vacations and agree to the Privacy Policy.
  2. There are two ways in which entrants can enter the competition: 
    1. Eligible Entrants who have travelled with Inspiring Vacations before must upload a photograph from their Inspiring Vacations tour, and in 150 words or less note the full name of the tour, and tell us what you loved most on tour or a moment you still talk about today.There are two ways for Inspiring Vacations Travel Lounger members to enter the competition:
    2. Eligible Entrants who have have a tour booked, but have not yet travelled must, in 150 words or less, name the full name of the tour you have booked and tell us why you chose it. No photo needed. 
  3. Entries that do not meet these criterion will be deemed invalid.
  4. Entrants may enter as many times as they want.
  5. Each entry must be unique - duplicate entries will not be accepted. Entries can not be entries from previous Inspiring Vacations competitions.

  6. By entering the competition, you confirm your entry is your own original work and contains no identifying marks, borders, watermarks, signatures, or AI-generated content.

  7. Entries must meet the following technical and content requirements
    1. Photos: Minimum resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels in JPG, PNG, or HEIC formats.
    1. Content: Must feature travel that occurred on an Inspiring Vacations tour and include an answer to the text prompt of 150 words or less relevant to the submission. If a caption exceeds 150 words, Inspiring Vacations reserves the right to edit or shorten it to 150 words.
    2. Entries must be the participant’s original work and contain no identifying marks, borders, watermarks, or signatures.
  8. By entering this competition, the Entrant confirms that they have obtained consent from all identifiable individuals featured in the submitted image or video for its use in this competition and any promotional materials associated with it.
  9. No purchase is necessary to enter. Void where prohibited.
  10. Entries will be deemed accepted at the time of receipt by the Promoter, not at the time of transmission. Entrants will receive a confirmation email upon successful submission. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, corrupted, lost, incomplete, or misdirected entries due to technical errors, omissions, deletion or otherwise.
  11. By entering the competition, Entrants grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive license to use submitted commentary, video footage, and photography in marketing materials and media worldwide, including online social networking sites. Entrants will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
  12. If you enter the Promotion but no longer wish to participate, please email marketing@inspiringgroup.com.au, and you will be removed from the Promotion.
  13. Costs associated with entering the Promotion remain an Entrant’s responsibility and may vary.
  14. Each person may vote only once during the community voting period. Multiple votes will result in disqualification.

General Prize Details

  1. This is a game of skill. Prize is awarded to Entrants based on originality and creativity.
  2. Winners will be notified directly via email within four (4) business days of the winning entry selection and published on the Inspiring Vacations promotional page.
  3. All communication regarding the redemption of prizes will be sent via email. Winners must ensure their contact details are kept up to date.

Grand Prize Details

  1. Two (2) Grand Prize winners will be determined by an Inspiring Vacations voting panel at 9:01am AEST on 9 July. The Grand Prize winners will be announced on 10 April 2026.
  2. Each winner will receive one (1) x $1,000AUD Inspiring Vacations voucher for use on their next Inspiring Vacations booking
  3. The two (2) winning entries will be announced on 10 July 2026 on the Inspiring Vacations Travel Lounge facebook group.
  4. The Prize cannot be swapped or changed.
  5. Total Prize pool is valued up to $2,000AUD (including GST), made up of 2 x $1,000 Inspiring Vacations vouchers. The Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either expressed or implied by the Promoter. A Winner may not substitute, assign, exchange, transfer or redeem the Prize for cash.
  6. Grand Prize inclusions do not cover additional costs such as visas, transfers, meals not included in a booked Inspiring Vacations tour itinerary, personal expenses, or optional upgrades. Such expenses will be the responsibility of the winner.
  7. Inspiring Vacations reserves the right to offer alternative prizes of equivalent value should there be an issue with the original prize.
  8. Winners are responsible for notifying Inspiring Vacations of any changes to their contact details. All communication will be sent via email.
  9. Should the Winner cancel their a booking using their prize for any reason, standard Inspiring Vacations Terms and Conditions will apply, and no credit or refund of the prize value will be applicable.

Other Terms and Conditions

  1. By entering the competition, Entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
  2. In participating in the prizes, the winners agree to participate and cooperate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Prize, including but not limited to being interviewed, videoed and photographed. The winners agree to grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive license to use winner’s commentary, video footage and photography in all media worldwide, including online social networking sites, and the winners  will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
  3. Any booking made will henceforth adhere to all Terms & Conditions posted to the Inspiring Vacations website.
  4. The Prize strictly cannot be exchanged or transferred.
  5. All taxes, insurances, transfers, spending money, visas, and other expenses (including meals or personal expenses) are the sole responsibility of the prize winner unless otherwise specified.
  6. Inspiring Vacations reserves the right to cancel the prize in the instance of a force majeure event as described in the Inspiring Vacations Terms & Conditions. In such instances, no deferral, rebooking or compensation will be available.
  7. Force majeure means the occurrence of an event that is beyond Inspiring Vacation’s reasonable control and which could not have been reasonably prevented by Inspiring Vacations, which includes, but is not limited to:
    1. war, armed conflict, criminal damage, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity or the threat of any such acts; 
    2. natural disasters (including but not limited to flooding, fire, earthquake, landslide, adverse weather conditions, high or low water levels); 
    3. nuclear or other industrial accident causing environmental pollution or contamination; 
    4. epidemics, pandemics, quarantines or any other public health crisis, including COVID-19 and its variants; or 
    5. change in law, meaning enactment, amendment (including repeal) in the law or administration of any law in Australia or any jurisdiction or territory relevant to the booking contract, which includes changes in statute, regulation determination, by-law, declaration, licence and the common law as applicable from time to time, including but not limited to travel or movement restrictions imposed by state, federal or foreign governments.
  8. Personal information collected in connection with this Promotion will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
  9. The Promoter reserves the right to redraw if a winner cannot satisfy these Terms and Conditions or has breached them.
