How many Velocity Points will I earn on my Inspiring Vacations booking?
You will earn 1 Velocity Point per $1 spent on eligible Inspiring Vacations tour package products and services booked on www.inspiringvacations.com/au.
What bookings are eligible to earn Velocity Points?
Velocity Points can be earned on eligible Inspiring Vacations tour packages, products and services purchased through www.inspiringvacations.com/au from 14 April 2026 (5pm AEST) onwards, and subject to applicable exclusions.
Who will earn the Velocity Points for a booking?
Velocity Points will only be awarded to the lead passenger on the booking. The name of the lead passenger must match the name on the relevant Velocity membership account.
Velocity Points cannot be split between multiple passengers or Velocity members. Therefore, if you travellers who wish to earn points, must make individual bookings and link their Velocity membership account.
What do I need to do to earn Velocity Points for my booking?
To earn Velocity Points, you must provide your valid Velocity membership number:
- at the time of booking, or
- after booking creation, but no later than 48 hours prior to your departure date.
If you have booked prior to 5:00PM AEST, 14 April 2026, you are not eligible to earn Points.
You can add your Velocity membership number through your Inspiring Vacations account, or by contacting the Customer Service team.
How do I add my Velocity account to my Inspiring Vacations booking?
At the time of booking, enter your Velocity Frequent Flyer number in the Velocity Frequent Flyer field on the passenger details or payment page or after booking following the below steps:
- Log in to your Inspiring Vacations account.
- Navigate to the My Bookings section of the Account and select the relevant booking.
- Go to Manage Booking and select Passenger Details.
- Enter your Velocity Frequent Flyer number in the Velocity Frequent Flyer field in the lead passenger section.
- Select Validate to link the Velocity Frequent Flyer Account to the booking.
- Click Submit at the bottom of the form to save.
Retrospective claims for Velocity points are not permitted.
Can I add my Velocity membership number after I’ve made my booking?
You can add your Velocity membership number after making your booking. However, it must be added no later than 48 hours prior to your departure date. If you are adding it within this time, we recommend calling the customer service team for assistance to add the details to your profile. To be eligible, you must be the Velocity account holder and the lead passenger on the booking.
To add your Velocity membership number, please follow the below steps:
- Log in to your Inspiring Vacations account.
- Navigate to the My Bookings section of the Account and select the relevant booking.
- Go to Manage Booking and select Passenger Details.
- Enter your Velocity Frequent Flyer number in the Velocity Frequent Flyer field in the lead passenger section.
- Select Validate to link the Velocity Frequent Flyer Account to the booking.
- Click Submit at the bottom of the form to save.
Can I earn Velocity Points on a booking after I start the trip?
No. You cannot earn Velocity Points once your trip has started if your Velocity membership number was not linked to your booking before your departure date.
When will I receive my Velocity Points?
Velocity Points will be credited to your Velocity account 7 days after your departure date.
What should I do if I haven’t received my Velocity Points
If your Velocity Points have not been allocated to your Velocity account 7 days post departure, please contact the Inspiring Vacations Customer Service team on 1300 88 66 88 or email support@inspiringvacations.com.
To earn points, you must confirm you were the lead passenger, the Velocity account owner, and your Velocity membership number was linked to your Inspiring Vacations booking prior to your departure date but preferably 48 hours prior to travel.
Retrospective claims for Velocity points are not permitted.
If I change my Inspiring Vacations booking, can I still earn Velocity Points?
In most cases you can still earn Velocity Points if you make changes to your booking, provided the following are met:
- You remain the lead passenger on the booking
- Your Velocity Frequent Flyer number remains linked to the booking
- The booking remains active
- Your original booking was made on or after the Velocity launch date and time (14 April 2026, 5pm AEST)
If your booking details change (such as passenger first or last name, travel dates, or room type), we recommend checking that your Velocity number is still correctly attached to the booking. Please visit the Manage Booking and Passenger Details sections of your Inspiring Vacations Account. If your saved Velocity number has been removed or is no longer present, please resubmit it.
Will I earn Velocity Points if I use credit that has been issued by Inspiring Vacations or I redeem my Velocity Points to pay for my booking?
- You will earn Velocity Points when using credit issued by Inspiring Vacations.
- If you redeem Velocity Points, any portion of the booking paid using redeemed Velocity Points will not earn Velocity Points, however, when using 'Points Plus Pay', you will only receive Velocity Points for eligible cash and Inspiring Vacations credit value.
What exclusions apply to earning Velocity Points on my booking?
Velocity Points will not be earned on:
- the refundable portion of any cancelled or suspended bookings or component of a booking, whether refunded in cash or credit issued.
- purchases made outside Inspiring Vacations booking channels (for example but not limited to, in room services, food, beverages, telephone or Wi-Fi)
- standalone flight bookings (unless part of the eligible Inspiring Vacations tour package)
- payment components made with a pre-purchased Inspiring Vacations gift card
- travel insurance (even if purchased as part of an eligible Inspiring Vacations tour package)
- financial products or services, including transaction fees
- Bookings made outside of www.inspiringvacations.com/au
- Bookings purchased via travel agents or other third parties outside of www.inspiringvacations.com/au

How many Velocity Points can I redeem on my Inspiring Vacations booking?
You can redeem a minimum of 5,000 Velocity Points per payment transaction on eligible Inspiring Vacations tour package products and services via www.inspiringvacations.com/au
What bookings are eligible for redeeming Velocity Points?
Velocity Points can be redeemed on eligible Inspiring Vacations tour package products and services purchased through www.inspiringvacations.com/au from 14 April 2026 (5pm AEST) onwards, subject to applicable exclusions.
Who can redeem Velocity Points on a booking?
Velocity Points can only be redeemed by the lead passenger on the booking, and the lead passenger name on the booking must match the Velocity membership account.
What do I need to do to redeem Velocity Points on my booking?
To redeem Velocity Points, you must:
- provide your valid Velocity membership number at the time of booking or when making a payment on the Inspiring Vacations website, and
- have a sufficient Velocity Points balance to make the redemption.
To redeem Velocity Points when making a new booking:
- Proceed to the checkout payment page.
- In the payment methods section, select "Velocity Points" and click "Log in to Velocity".
- You will be redirected to the Velocity login page. Sign in with your Velocity Frequent Flyer credentials.
- Once authenticated, you will be returned to the payment page and a confirmation prompt will appear displaying your name. Confirm that you are the lead passenger and that your VFF account name matches the lead passenger name on the booking by selecting "Yes".
- The system will check your Velocity Points balance. If you have enough points (minimum 5,000 points), the Points + Pay slider will appear.
- Use the slider to choose how many Velocity Points you would like to redeem. As you adjust the slider, the remaining cash amount to pay will update in real time.
- Once you are happy with the amount of points to redeem, click "Proceed with booking!" to complete your booking.
- Your booking confirmation will display the number of Velocity Points redeemed. Any outstanding balance on your invoice can then be paid using another payment method.
To redeem Velocity Points on an existing booking:
- Log in to your Inspiring Vacations account and navigate to your booking invoice.
- Select "Velocity Points" as your payment method and click "Log in to Velocity".
- Sign in with your Velocity Frequent Flyer credentials.
- If prompted, confirm you are the lead passenger and that your VFF account name matches the lead passenger name.
- Use the slider to choose how many points you would like to redeem towards your outstanding balance, then proceed with the payment.
You can redeem Velocity Points any time you make a payment on the Inspiring Vacations website, even if you did not redeem Velocity Points on the initial payment when making your booking.
Can I make a payment using a combination of Velocity Points and cash?
You can make a payment using ‘Points plus Pay’, where you redeem some (minimum 5,000) Velocity Points and pay the remaining amount for that payment in cash or credit that has been issued by Inspiring Vacations.
What happens if I cancel, change or receive a credit for a booking made with Velocity Points?
Velocity Points redeemed to make a booking are non-refundable and will be forfeited if the booking is cancelled or refunded.
However, if you cancel within your applicable cooling-off period and are entitled to a refund under Inspiring Vacations policies, your Velocity Points may be returned to your Velocity account.
If a booking is cancelled, postponed or changed and credit is issued by Inspiring Vacations, that credit can be used towards future eligible tour package products and services and will earn Velocity Points.
If a booking that has been paid for using Velocity Points is cancelled, postponed, or changed outside of the timeframe specified above, the Inspiring Vacations cancellation and refund policy will apply. In such cases, a credit or reimbursement of points may be issued, less any unrecoverable costs.
What exclusions apply to redeeming Velocity Points on a new or existing booking?
Velocity Points cannot be redeemed for:
- bookings made through third party travel agents or any booking channel other than the Inspiring Vacations website www.inspiringvacations.com/au.
- any additional incidentals or purchases made outside of Inspiring Vacations booking channels, whether at your destination or directly with a hotel or third party, (for example but not limited to, in room services, food, beverages, telephone or Wi-Fi or in-room services).

If I am expecting a refund of points, how long does it take to appear in my account?
Where a refund of Velocity Points is applicable and has been processed by Inspiring Vacations, the refunded points will appear in your Velocity Frequent Flyer account within 7 days.
