      Conditions of Entry

      General

      • Information on how to enter this Promotion, mechanics of entry and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. Entry to this promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these Conditions of Entry by each Entrant.
      • Entry is open to residents in Australia only (excluding South Australia and ACT), who satisfy the below clauses to entry. Entrants must be over the age of 18 as of the date of entry (Entrants).
      • Employees or contractors working for or with Inspiring Vacations and their direct family members are not eligible for the Promotion.
      • Only entrants who apply within the competition period are eligible for the Promotion.
      • Inspiring Vacations Pty Ltd (ABN 22 623 610 711) of Level 2, 420 St Kilda Rd, Melbourne, Victoria 3004 is the Promoter and reserves the right to modify these conditions at any time without notice, subject to state regulatory approval.
      • The Promotion begins at 12:01am AEDT on 28 October 2024 and ends at 11:59pm AEDT on 5 January 2025 (Promotional Period).    


      Entry

      • To enter the competition, Entrants must, during the Promotional Period, visit the Inspiring Vacations promotional page and complete the online entry form, including their first name, last name, email address, and consent to receive promotional emails from Inspiring Vacations and agree to the Privacy Policy.
      • Entrants found to be entering multiple email addresses may have their entries invalidated. Entries are limited to one per person.
      • No purchase is necessary to enter. Void where prohibited.
      • Entries will be deemed accepted at the time of receipt by the Promoter and not at the time of transmission. Entries received will be considered by the Promoter. Illegible, incomprehensible and incomplete entries will be deemed invalid. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction or otherwise including those entries not received by the Promoter.
      • One (1) winner will be electronically chosen at random from all Australian states, excluding South Australia and ACT.
      • If you enter the Promotion but no longer wish to participate, please email marketing@inspiringgroup.com.au and you will be removed from the Promotion.
      • Costs associated with entering the Promotion remain an Entrant’s responsibility and may vary.

      Winner and Prize Details:

      • This is a game of chance.
      • The prize is awarded to 1 entrant who enters the promotion during the promotional period.
      • The sole winner will be chosen at random from all Australian states will be the first valid entry, electronically drawn from the Prize Draw, which will be conducted on 7 January, 2025 at the Promoter’s premises at Level 2, 420 St Kilda Rd, Melbourne, Victoria 3004 at 1:00pm AEDT.
      • The winner will be notified directly via the email provided within two (2) business days of the prize draw and will be published on the Inspiring Vacations promotional page.
      • The winner must accept the Prize by 9:00am AEDT 14 January, 2025, and be available to travel on 07 July 2025 or 18 August 2025, or the Prize will be forfeited by the Winner and a replacement winner will be drawn. This winner will have already been drawn at the time and location of the original draw.
      • A replacement winner, if any, will be notified directly via email or phone within two (2) business days of the decision being made.
      • Entries not fully complying with these Conditions of Entry may be deemed invalid at the Promoter’s discretion. If a winning entry is deemed not to comply with these Conditions of Entry, the entry will be discarded and the relevant Prize will be re-awarded in accordance with the relevant clause of these Conditions of Entry as if the discarded entry had not been received.
      • Once the trip booking is confirmed, no changes to the departure date or traveller details can be made.

      Prize Details: 

      • There is one (1) prize to be won (Prize). The drawn entry, as electronically drawn, will win the Prize which includes:
      • One (1) x 16-day Unforgettable Japan tour for two (2) people, with two (2) return international economy flights arriving in Tokyo and departing from Osaka, from Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Hobart or Perth.
      • The 16-day Unforgettable Japan tour is provided as described on inspiringvacations.com, with all inclusions as noted at time of booking.
      • The Prize cannot be swapped or changed.
      • Total Prize is valued up to $23,548 AUD (including GST). The Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either expressed or implied by the Promoter. A Winner may not substitute, assign, exchange, transfer or redeem the Prize for cash.
      • The winners will select their choice of departure date, on 07 July 2025 or 18 August 2025.
      • Departure dates subject to change.
      • If the Prize (or part of the Prize) is unavailable or unable to meet the minimum departure requirements, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or part of the Prize) with a Prize to the equal value and/or specification.
      • The Winner must depart from and return to the same Australian domestic airport.

      Other Terms and Conditions:

      • Any booking made will henceforth adhere to all Terms & Conditions posted to the Inspiring Vacations website.
      • In accepting and participating in the Prize, the Winner agrees to participate and cooperate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Prize, including but not limited to being interviewed, videoed and photographed. The winner will provide the Promoter with a selection of minimum five (5) pieces of on-tour imagery and footage to be used for promotional purposes. The Winner (and their companion) agree to grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive license to use Winner’s commentary, video footage and photography in all media worldwide, including online social networking sites, and the Winner (and their companion) will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
      • The Prize strictly cannot be exchanged or transferred and traveller details cannot be amended once the booking is confirmed.
      • The Prize is based on two people, twin share (bedding configuration is not guaranteed).
      • If the Winner cancels their booking for any reason, the Winner must forfeit their prize.
      • The Winner will be responsible for any additional costs that are not identified in the inclusions section of the detailed itinerary. This itinerary will be shared with the Winner upon acceptance of the prize. Transportation to and from the airport and to the itinerary starting point, any optional upgrades, meals and other excluded expenses are payable by the prize winner.
      • All communication regarding bookings made for your awarded tour will be sent via email. It will be the responsibility of the Winner to notify us of any contact detail changes.
      • Inspiring Vacations reserves the right to cancel the prize in the instance of a force majeure event as described in the Inspiring Vacations Terms & Conditions. In such instances, no deferral, rebooking or compensation will be available.
      • Force majeure means the occurrence of an event that is beyond Inspiring Vacation’s reasonable control and which could not have been reasonably prevented by Inspiring Vacations, which includes, but is not limited to:
        • war, armed conflict, criminal damage, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity or the threat of any such acts; 
        • natural disasters (including but not limited to flooding, fire, earthquake, landslide, adverse weather conditions, high or low water levels; 
        • nuclear or other industrial accident causing environmental pollution or contamination; 
        • epidemics, pandemics, quarantines or any other public health crisis, including COVID-19 and its variants; or 
        • change in law, meaning enactment, amendment (including repeal) in the law or administration of any law in Australia or any jurisdiction or territory relevant to the booking contract, which includes changes in statute, regulation determination, by-law, declaration, licence and the common law as applicable from time to time, including but not limited to travel or movement restrictions imposed by state, federal or foreign governments.
      • The collection and disclosure of personal information provided in connection with this promotion will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
      • If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation.
      • By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
      • The Promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw if an entrant, claiming to be a winner, cannot satisfy these Terms and Conditions or has breached these Terms and Conditions.
