Inspiring Vacations Post-travel Survey Competition - Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions

Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. By participating, you agree to be bound by and comply with these Terms and Conditions.

Inspiring Vacations Pty Ltd (ABN 22 623 610 711) of Level 2, 420 St Kilda Rd, Melbourne, Victoria 3004 is the Promoter and reserves the right to modify these conditions at any time without notice, subject to state regulatory approval.

The Promotion begins at 12:01am AEST on 17th September 2026 and ends at 11:59pm AEDT on  17th September 2027 (Promotional Period) unless otherwise extended. No entries submitted after this time will be valid. 

Entry eligibility

The competition is open to residents of Australia and New Zealand who are aged 18 years or older and excludes employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary company and their immediate families, anyone connected professionally with the prize draw, or any person where entering this competition breaches any law or regulation of the jurisdiction in which they are resident. In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. A person may win only one (1) prize across all draws conducted under this promotion. Where an entrant who has already won is drawn again, their entry will be set aside and a further entry will be drawn.


Entry instructions

To enter, individuals must complete the following entry mechanics during the Competition.

Complete the Inspiring Vacations post-tour survey and include the six-digit booking number or reference from your last completed Inspiring Vacations booking on the booking ID question.

To qualify, the entrant's Inspiring Vacations tour must have been completed within the twelve (12) months immediately before the date of entry. Each booking reference may be used for one (1) entry only. Where an entrant has completed more than one qualifying booking, only one (1) entry per person will be accepted.

Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid. Entries automatically generated by computer, completed by third parties in bulk, or that have been altered, reconstructed, or tampered with will be rejected. Multiple entries from the same person or email, under the same booking reference will not count towards an additional entry.

Entries will be deemed accepted at the time of receipt by the Promoter and not at the time of transmission. Entries received will be considered by the Promoter. Illegible, incomprehensible and incomplete entries will be deemed invalid. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction or otherwise including those entries not received by the Promoter.

If you enter the Promotion but no longer wish to participate, please email support@inspiringvacations.com and you will be removed from the Promotion.

Costs associated with entering the Promotion remain an Entrant’s responsibility and may vary.


Prize details:

One (1) prize is awarded per monthly draw during the promotion period. The total prize value of each draw is A$500. There is one (1) winner per draw.

The prize winner will receive:

  •  One (1) Inspiring Vacations voucher for $500 (AUD/NZD) 
  • The Inspiring Vacations voucher is only available to use directly on https://www.inspiringvacations.com.
  • The Inspiring Vacations voucher is valid on new bookings only until 11:59PM (AEST) 17th October 2027 for any travel date.
  • The voucher code sent to the winner must be used at time of purchase of the new booking.
  • The Inspiring Vacations voucher cannot be used in conjunction with select promotional offers and Travelzoo product and must be applied within cooling-off period
  • This offer is not transferable or redeemable for cash
  • The Promoter reserves the right to replace the Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control make it necessary to do so.
  • The voucher may be applied to one (1) booking only. Any unused balance is forfeited and is not refundable, reissued or redeemable for cash.
  • Any amount payable above the value of the voucher remains the responsibility of the winner. No minimum booking value applies.
  • If a booking made using the voucher is cancelled for any reason, the standard Inspiring Vacations booking terms and conditions apply and the voucher value is not refunded, reinstated or reissued.

Prize draw date

The winners will be notified in writing by the email connected to the booking number advised and submitted at the time of entry.

This is a game of chance; each eligible entry will be placed into the draw with a winner electronically drawn at random. 

The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to identify and locate the Prize Winners.


The winner will be the first valid entry electronically drawn from the Prize Draw, which will be conducted on the first Monday of each month at the Promoter’s premises at Level 2, 420 St Kilda Rd, Melbourne, Victoria 3004 at 11:00AM AEDT.

The winner will be notified directly via the email within two (2) business days of the prize draw via email.

The winner must accept the Prize within 7 days of being notified or the Prize will be forfeited by the Winner and a replacement winner will be notified. This winner will have already been drawn at the time and location of the original draw. The redrawn winner must accept the Prize within 7 days of being notified as being the redrawn winner.

Entries not fully complying with these Conditions of Entry may be deemed invalid at the Promoter’s discretion. If a winning entry is deemed not to comply with these Conditions of Entry, the entry will be discarded and the relevant Prize will be re-awarded in accordance with the relevant clause of these Conditions of Entry as if the discarded entry had not been received.


Collection and use of your personal information

Personal Information, including the Eligible Entrant’s most recent Inspiring Vacations booking number/reference, will be collected and used for the purpose of conducting this Competition. This may require disclosure to third parties, including the Promoter’s agents or third-party service providers, for the purpose of conducting the Competition.

Jurisdiction

The promotion shall be governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

General

The Promoter and its affiliates reserve the right to amend or withdraw the prize draw and any of the prizes in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside their reasonable control. Prizes are subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute alternative prizes of equivalent or greater value.

Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents, or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury, or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents, or distributors or that of their employees. 


Your statutory rights are not affected.

Other Terms and Conditions:

Any booking made will henceforth adhere to all Terms & Conditions posted to the Inspiring Vacations website.

The Prize strictly cannot be exchanged or transferred and traveller details cannot be amended once a booking is confirmed using the Inspiring Vacations voucher.

Prize cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash.

All communication regarding bookings made for your awarded Inspiring Vacations voucher will be sent via email. It will be the responsibility of the winner to notify us of any contact detail changes.

Should the Winner be forced to cancel the booking for whatever reason, standard terms and conditions will apply and no credit or refund of the tour value or date change will be applicable.

Inspiring Vacations reserves the right to cancel the prize in the instance of a force majeure event as described in the Inspiring Vacations Terms & Conditions. In such instances, no deferral, rebooking or compensation will be available.

Force majeure means the occurrence of an event that is beyond Inspiring Vacation’s reasonable control and which could not have been reasonably prevented by Inspiring Vacations, which includes, but is not limited to:

war, armed conflict, criminal damage, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity or the threat of any such acts;

natural disasters (including but not limited to flooding, fire, earthquake, landslide, adverse weather conditions, high or low water levels;

nuclear or other industrial accident causing environmental pollution or contamination; epidemics, pandemics, quarantines or any other public health crisis, including COVID-19 and its variants; or

change in law, meaning enactment, amendment (including repeal) in the law or administration of any law in Australia or any jurisdiction or territory relevant to the booking contract, which includes changes in statute, regulation determination, by-law, declaration, licence and the common law as applicable from time to time, including but not limited to travel or movement restrictions imposed by state, federal or foreign governments.

The collection and disclosure of personal information provided in connection with this promotion will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.

If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation.

By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

The promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw if an entrant, claiming to be a winner, cannot satisfy these Terms and Conditions or has breached these Terms and Conditions.
