An overview of our commitment to enjoyment, safety and wellbeing of everyone on tour and how we can ensure tour suitability for our travellers .
Where to find information relating to Tour Suitability and Pace:
If you have any mobility limitations, health concerns, or medical issues, it is crucial for us to be informed so we can communicate your needs to our local teams. The more information you provide, the better we can assist you.
We encourage all travellers to carefully consider the pace of the tour they are selecting, and to review the Tour Suitability section found under The Essentials, Pre-Tour Essentials on the website deal page.
Additionally, we recommend reviewing the day-to-day itinerary to gain a broad understanding of the physical demands of the tour. Our itineraries cover both urban environments and rural, off-the-beaten-path locations, which means the terrain can vary significantly. This often involves considerable walking and may include stairs and uneven surfaces.
Even if you feel confident after reviewing the above, please still share any mobility, health or medical issues you may have with us for our records (for example, if you use a walking stick).
How to submit information relating to your Health/Medical and Mobility Requirements that are general in nature:
It is possible to submit this information to us when filling in your Passenger Details form in Traveller Hub, where there is a free-text box requesting Medical/Mobility Requirements.
If information is not submitted here, it is assumed you have no limitations at all, in line with the Passenger Acknowledgement that is checked as part of the booking process, confirming you are fit and able to travel.
What to do if you want more information or want to ensure suitability of your tour:
If you require more detailed information about the terrain and distances you will cover each day, please reach out to us for further discussion.
We kindly ask you to also inform us if you are traveling with any medications that require specific storage conditions, such as refrigeration, or if you have equipment that needs electrical power, like a CPAP machine. If your travel itinerary includes remote locations, we recommend discussing your requirements with us to ensure that we can accommodate your needs, as there may be locations with unstable power or limited access to the facilities you are accustomed to at home.
To discuss any mobility, health, medical, or accessibility requirements, please reach out to us via email at support@inspiringvacations.com, and we will be happy to help.
General:
Your comfort and well-being are our top priority, and the best way we can ensure this is through open communication and advance notification, allowing us to coordinate effectively with our teams in destination.
Lastly, while we strive to accommodate the needs of all travellers, there may be instances where a particular tour may not be suitable for you. In such cases, we would be happy to recommend alternative options that may better meet your needs.
