      Inspiring Vacations Past Traveller Photo Competition - 2023

      Competition Title: 2023 Past Traveller Photo Competition 
           
      Competition Period: 6:00am AEDT March 1, 2023 to 11:59 pm AEST December 15, 2023
           
      How to Enter:
      1. To enter, submit your email address on the competition page on the InspiringVacations.com website, and then submit your official entry using one of the listed methods on the competition form. By entering, you agree to be added to the Inspiring Vacations subscriber list and to receive marketing material. You can unsubscribe from this marketing list at any time following the completion of the competition. All photo submissions grant Inspiring Vacations permission to use these assets for marketing purposes and publications. 
      2. After entering your email address (which is a prerequisite for entry to the competition in order for us to contact you if you are chosen as a winner and to verify you as a customer of Inspiring Vacations), your official entry can be made via the following:
        1. Selecting a photo from your Facebook feed (post must be made public, submissions with privacy settings turned on will be disqualified)
        2. Selecting a photo from your Instagram feed (Instagram account must be public and not restricted)
        3. Uploading a photo directly using the competition widget 
        4. Consistent with point 2 above, entries must be made using the competition application software published on the Inspiring Vacations competition web page.
      3. All entries will be entered into the monthly competition as well as the yearly competition.
           
      Competition Timeline and Winner Notifications
      Prize information including the dates on which the winners will be announced are provided below. Prizes and details are subject to change at any time.   
      All entries will be entered into the competition to win our "18 Day Inspiring Spain, Portugal & Morocco" for two people valued at $8,710 AUD, $5,932 USD. The winner must be able to travel on one of the following dates: 20th of May 2024 or 17th of June 2024.
      There will also be a monthly competition which selects a winner from each corresponding month. Each month's winner will receive a $500 AUD or USD Inspiring Vacations travel voucher valid on https://www.inspiringvacations.com. Voucher currency will be based on the region the winner is located.  Each month’s winner will be selected by the Inspiring Vacations marketing team.
      All entries are automatically entered for both competitions mentioned above. 
      A shortlist will be selected by the Inspiring Vacations marketing team after the conclusion of the competition for the end of year prize. The shortlist will be opened to a vote by the Inspiring Vacations marketing team. The winner will then be contacted via their registered email within 7 days of the competition end date. The names of all winners will be published on the Inspiring Vacations competition page on the date of the winner announcements. If a winner is contacted and they do not respond to the email within 48 hours of the email being sent, a runner-up will take their place. If the entrant has provided an incorrect email address, Inspiring Vacations cannot be held responsible as a consequence if the prize is ultimately reallocated.
           
      Entries must be a photo of a destination or themselves while on an Inspiring Vacations holiday. To be eligible winners must include their first name, the first letter of their last name, where the photo was taken and their city of residence in the caption when submitting their entry. Winners must have the ability to provide evidence that they have travelled on an Inspiring Vacations holiday and their submitted picture is from an associated holiday with Inspiring Vacations. Should you not comply with this requirement, Inspiring Vacations reserves the right to reallocate the prize to another entrant.
           
      Prize Details:
          
      End of Year Prize
      1. X "18 Day Inspiring Spain, Portugal & Morocco", for 2 people, twin share (valued at $8,710 AUD, $5,932 USD)
      The winner will have a choice of departing on either 20th of May 2024 or 17th of June 2024.
       
      Monthly Prizes
      1. X $500 AUD or USD Inspiring Vacations travel voucher redeemable at inspiringvacations.com. The currency of the voucher will be determined based on the region where the winner is located.
      Voucher Details:
      - There will be one voucher per month available to win. These will be awarded electronically to each individual winner via the email provided in their entry. 
      - The value of the vouchers will expire 3 months from the send date, and cannot be reinstated if not utilised. The vouchers may be used for any departure dates that are currently available on our website. 
      - Travel does not have to occur prior to the expiry date, but the booking needs to be confirmed prior to expiry.
      - All vouchers will have a minimum spend of $1,998 in their respective currency.
      - The voucher must be applied at the time of booking, in which the value will be discounted off the full total value of the package.
      -Booking must be made directly with Inspiring Vacations and not via a third party. The Inspiring Vacations travel promo code is not applicable for any products on the 'marketplace' service (the 'Marketplace Booking Service')
      -Upon booking travel with Inspiring Vacations, winners will be required to pay for any differences between their awarded voucher and the chosen tour price, as well as items that are not included in the standard tour packages including but not limited to meals, flights, transfers, and other tour exclusions. 
      - Voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion
      - Voucher cannot be redeemed for cash
      An entrant and any immediate member of the entrant’s family may only win one of the monthly prizes. However, a winner can win both the end of year and monthly prize. 
              
      Eligibility:
      The competition is open to residents of Australia and the United States (excluding the Australian Capital Territory, South Australia, Tenesse, Florida, New York, and Rhode Island), who are over the age of 18.   
      Employees, contractors working for or with Inspiring Vacations and their immediate family members are not eligible.

      Travel agents are not eligible for the competition.

       

      Other Terms & Conditions:
      1. This is a game of skill. The shortlist for the yearly competition will be selected by the Inspiring Vacations marketing team. The winner will be selected via vote from the shortlist. 
      2. Entry into this competition is deemed to be in acceptance of these conditions. Inspiring Vacations Pty Ltd of Level 2, 420 St Kilda Rd, Melbourne, Victoria 3004 is the Promoter and reserves the right to modify these conditions at any time without notice, subject to state regulatory approval.
      3. All entrants must be able to provide evidence that they have been on an Inspiring Vacations tour if requested.
      4. Submitted pictures must be associated and taken on an Inspiring Vacations tour.
      5. By entering, you are accepting that the vouchers will have an expiry of 3 months from the date of issue.
      6. If contacted as a winner for the end of year prize, the booking must be made no later than 30 days past the date of the winner notification or the prize will be forfeited. 
      7. The prize strictly cannot be exchanged or transferred and can only be redeemed by the winner, traveler details cannot be amended once the booking is confirmed.
      8. The prize is based on two people sharing a twin or double room (bedding configuration is not guaranteed)
      9. If the end of year prize tour does not meet the minimum requirements for departure, Inspiring Vacations will offer alternative dates.
      10. The end of year prize winner and their travel companion will be responsible for any additional costs that are not identified in the inclusions section of the detailed itinerary. This itinerary will be shared with the winner upon acceptance of the prize. Airfares and/or transportation to the itinerary starting point, any optional upgrades, meals and other excluded expenses are payable by the prize winner.
      11. The winner of the end of year prize and their travel companion must have the ability to supply photography and video media content for marketing purposes from their travels on the “18 Day Inspiring Spain, Portugal & Morocco” tour. Mobile device quality media content is acceptable.
      12. Our travel packages are subject to availability at the time you book. Inspiring Vacations recommend you make your booking using your voucher as soon as possible to give you as much choice as possible. If contacted as a prize winner, you must be able to use the voucher 3 months from it being sent to your inbox or forfeit the remaining balance. 
      13. All communication regarding bookings made for your awarded tour and voucher will be sent via email. It will be the responsibility of the winner to notify us of any contact detail changes. 
      14. Should you be forced to cancel your booking for whatever reason, standard terms and conditions will apply and no credit or refund of the tour value, date change or credit amount would be applicable. 
      15. Inspiring Vacations reserves the right to cancel the prize in the instance of a force majeure event as described in the Inspiring Vacations terms & conditions. In such instances, no deferral, rebooking or compensation will be available. Force majeure means the occurrence of an event that is beyond Inspiring Vacation’s reasonable control and which could not have been reasonably prevented by Inspiring Vacations, which includes, but is not limited to: (a) war, armed conflict, criminal damage, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity or the threat of any such acts; (b) natural disasters (including but not limited to flooding, fire, earthquake, landslide, adverse weather conditions, high or low water levels; (c) nuclear or other industrial accident causing environmental pollution or contamination; (d) epidemics, pandemics, quarantines or any other public health crisis, including COVID-19 and its variants; or (e) change in law, meaning enactment, amendment (including repeal) in the law or administration of any law in Australia or any jurisdiction or territory relevant to the booking contract, which includes changes in statute, regulation determination, by-law, declaration, licence and the common law as applicable from time to time, including but not limited to travel or movement restrictions imposed by state, federal or foreign governments.
      16. Any booking made through Inspiring Vacations using your awarded voucher will henceforth adhere to all Terms & Conditions posted to our website. 
      17. All awarded vouchers strictly cannot be exchanged for any other value or expiration date. If you are unable to use your voucher by the expiry date, the voucher will expire and will no longer be available for use by the winner.
