The Greatest Travel Show Door Prize
One door prize will be offered each day, of every day of The Greatest Travel Show. There will be a total of 8 prizes drawn. Competition period for each prize is as follows:
- Sydney - Saturday, 21st & Sunday, 22nd October 2023, 9am - 5pm
- Newcastle - Saturday, 29th October 2023, 9am - 5pm
- Brisbane - Saturday, 4th & Sunday, 5th November 2023, 9am - 5pm
- Melbourne - Saturday, 18th & Sunday, 19th November 2023, 9am - 5pm
- Adelaide - Saturday, 25th November 2023, 9am - 5pm
Method of Entry
To enter, a valid booking must be made at the event attended, within the competition period as outlined above. A booking is determined as valid by the payment of at least a $99 per person deposit.
Eligibility
Entry is open only to attendees of the event, who register their attendance at the sign in desk. Entrants must satisfy the method of entry as outlined above and reside in one of the eligible states/territories. Residents of ACT are excluded.
Winners must be over the age of 18. Travel agents are not eligible. Employees, contractors working for or with Inspiring Vacations and their direct family members are not eligible.
Prize Details
(7) x $5,000 AUD Inspiring Vacations voucher (Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane, Melbourne)
(1) x $4,999 AUD Inspiring Vacations voucher (Adelaide).
This will be awarded electronically to the winner via the email provided in their booking, at the end of their cooling-off period.
The vouchers will have an expiry date of six months from the date of which they are sent to the winner. The voucher can be redeemed on any booking made at inspiringvacations.com. The voucher cannot be used in combination with other Inspiring Vacations promotions or offers.
Cash may not be awarded in lieu of the voucher and the voucher is strictly non-transferable.

Prize Notification and Claim
Winners will be notified via the email provided within 48 hours of the prize draw. This initial email communication will ask for their official acceptance of the prize and all Terms and Conditions. Instructions on how to proceed with utilising their voucher will follow.
If a winner is drawn and they do not respond with their acceptance of the prize within 48 hours of the email being sent, a new winner may be drawn at the discretion of Inspiring Vacations. If a runner-up winner is drawn and they do not respond within 48 hours of the email being sent the prize will be forfeited. If the entrant has provided an incorrect email address, Inspiring Vacations cannot be held responsible as a consequence if the prize is ultimately redrawn.
The voucher will be awarded to the winner after their eligibility has been confirmed and the prize has been officially accepted. Any bookings utilizing the voucher prize must be made prior to the specified expiry date of the voucher or the prize will be forfeited. Travel does not have to occur prior to the expiry date.
Prize draw
Winners of each prize will be drawn at the closing of each individual day of the events, as outlined above. Location of the draw will happen at the respective event venue.
Other Terms and Conditions
- This is a game of chance. The winner will be randomly drawn from the list of entrants.
- If the initial booking made to enter the competition is cancelled within the seven-day cooling-off period, entry to the competition is invalid.
- Entry into this competition is deemed to be in acceptance of these conditions. Inspiring Vacations Pty Ltd (ABN 22 623 610 711) of Level 2, 420 St Kilda Rd, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia 3004 is the Promoter and reserves the right to modify these conditions at any time without notice, subject to state regulatory approval.
- Voucher will be issued once initial deposit has been received and cooling-off period has passed.
- Once awarded, the Inspiring Vacations voucher and its full value become the responsibility of the winner. Should you misplace the voucher code or diminish the balance due to user error, no refund or replacement will be applicable.
- Our travel packages are subject to availability at the time you book. The prize booking must be made and confirmed no later than six months past the date of the winner notification or the prize will be forfeited.
- Any booking made will henceforth adhere to all Terms & Conditions posted to our website.
- The prize strictly cannot be exchanged or transferred.
- If the prize redeemed does not meet the minimum requirements for departure, Inspiring Vacations will offer alternative dates.
- The winner will be responsible for any additional costs that are not identified in the inclusions section of the redeemed trip’s detailed itinerary. This could include airfares and/or transportation to the itinerary starting point, any optional upgrades, meals, and other excluded expenses, payable by the prize winner if not included in the package.
- All communication regarding bookings made for your awarded tour will be sent via email. It will be the responsibility of the winner to notify us of any changes to contact details.
- Should you be forced to cancel your booking for whatever reason, standard terms and conditions will apply and no credit or refund of the tour value or date change would be applicable.
- Inspiring Vacations reserves the right to cancel the prize in the instance of a force majeure event as described in the Inspiring Vacations terms & conditions. In such instances, no deferral, rebooking, or compensation will be available. Force majeure means the occurrence of an event that is beyond Inspiring Vacation’s reasonable control and which could not have been reasonably prevented by Inspiring Vacations, which includes, but is not limited to: (a) war, armed conflict, criminal damage, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity or the threat of any such acts; (b) natural disasters (including but not limited to flooding, fire, earthquake, landslide, adverse weather conditions, high or low water levels; (c) nuclear or other industrial accident causing environmental pollution or contamination; (d) epidemics, pandemics, quarantines or any other public health crisis, including COVID-19 and its variants; or (e) change in law, meaning enactment, amendment (including repeal) in the law or administration of any law in Australia or any jurisdiction or territory relevant to the booking contract, which includes changes in statute, regulation determination, by-law, declaration, licence and the common law as applicable from time to time, including but not limited to travel or movement restrictions imposed by state, federal or foreign governments.
- The collection and disclosure of personal information provided in connection with this promotion will be handled in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Policy.
